MG Hector Overview

The new MG Hector is a feature-rich luxury SUV. It is priced extremely competitively between Rs 14.73 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and Rs 21.72 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and is certainly a game changer.

Exterior

The MG cars has a striking look that is both bold and commanding. The front fascia has a muscular bumper, LED projector headlights, and a chrome-lined hexagonal grille. Because of its upright stance, 18-inch alloy wheels, and commanding sitting position, the SUV commands attention on the road. The MG automobiles include LED tail lights, a rear spoiler, and a stylish bumper at the back.

 

Interior

Hector's cabin is opulent and roomy. A 360-degree camera, a superior sound system, and a 7-inch infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included inside. It is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT transmission. There is also a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The diesel type is the most fuel-efficient, with a mileage of 17.41 km, followed by the petrol hybrid at 15.81 km, petrol standard manual at 14.16 km, and petrol standard DCT at 13.96 km. The gasoline tank has a capacity of 60 liters.

The new Hector's wheel size has received a lot of attention. Many argue that it is not proportionate to the total size of the vehicle. The entry-level trims have 17-inch steel wheels, while the top-spec variants have 18-inch alloy wheels. Front and rear disc brakes are provided.
