Simple Energy One vs Ola S1 comparison

Simple's One and Ola's S1 both assert that they provide industry benchmarks. Here is a brief comparison between One and S1.

The S1 and S1 Pro cost Rs 1,29,999 and Rs 1,39,999 (both prices ex-showroom), respectively. The Simple Energy One price is Rs 1,45,000 (ex-showroom).

Range

As both attempt to increase the threshold, the assertions are significant. The advertised S1 and Ola S1 Pro ranges are 121 km and 181 km, respectively. Non-replaceable 2.98 kWh and 3.97 kWh batteries are installed in the scooters.

 

A 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery powering the Simple Energy One is said to have a maximum range of 236 km and a stated range of 203 km in Eco mode.

 
Charging time
The portable home charger for the S1 and S1 Pro takes 4.48 hours or 6.30 hours to charge the scooters completely.

A replaceable battery pack weighing 7 kg is included with the Simple One, and it can be charged at any 15A charging outlet (0-80% in 2.5 hours).

The Simple One can reach 105 kmph, while the S1 and S1 Pro have top speeds of 90 and 115 kmph, respectively. Similarly, 0–40 km/h is likewise quite competitive. While One claims 2.9 seconds, S1 Pro hits the target at 3 seconds.

With a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, geo-fencing, over-the-air updates, onboard navigation, access to music and call controls for the connected smartphone, remote telemetrics, and even a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), The Simple One is a connected scooter that is 4G enabled.

S1 links with your phone via its "digital key" function despite having no physical key. This enables it to detect when you are close by and unlock itself. As you walk away, it will also lock itself. It has a multi-microphone array, only LED lighting, in-house developed AI voice recognition algorithms, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The Ola S1 includes geo-fencing, an anti-theft alarm system, and a water- and dust-resistant, flame-resistant battery. Voice recognition is also included with the scooters.

 
Cycle parts
A telescopic front fork, symmetrically placed progressive mono-shock rear suspension, and 12-inch wheels with 200 mm front and 180 mm rear discs are all included on the tubular steel frame of the Simple One. It features a 30-liter boot and weighs 110 kilograms.

The Ola S1 has a front single-fork suspension, rear mono-shock suspension, and 110/70 R12 tires on its wheels. Additionally, it features reverse and cruise modes.
